Start in-person or telehealth session

Providers start their scheduled in-person or telehealth session with their patient directly in the Valant EHR platform. AI Notes Assist listens in the background so it can prepare a structured note that aligns with how you document, while generating CPT-aligned suggestions based on your care, all inside Valant.

Generate your note

After the session, AI Notes Assist creates a structured draft that aligns with how you document, including SOAP, DAP, BIRP, narrative, and custom templates, automatically organizing content into the appropriate sections.  

CPT and modifier suggestions are surfaced based on your documented care, helping you finalize notes faster, all inside Valant.

Finalize notes

Clinicians review the structured draft generated during the session, make any edits needed, and finalize using their clinical judgment.
 
All documentation stays inside Valant. Notes are securely stored in the EHR, recordings are not retained, and session data is never used for model training.  

You remain fully in control from draft to signature.
